These are my favorite peening hammers.

The small ball peen is actually made by Heller, you can see part of their stamp and logo on the side of the head.
Heller is known for their quality Farrier supplies.

I use this small hammer for handle pins when I'm installing thin bone handles or I use it to mushroom the rivet on the inside of the liner.

The cross peen hammer I use for most of my peening jobs, although I will go to a 4 ounce Craftsman ball peen hammer if I am installing 1/8" brass pins.
With the handle included, the Craftsman actually weighs 7.1 oz.


I did get some rivet hammers in today, they are for sale in my AAPK store.
There are two styles of rivet hammers and a small 2 ounce brass mallet, if anyone needs a that hammer.
