Mini Klein Coping Knife

Post by Jeffinn »

I ended up with a couple of these small knives through various E-Bay auctions (I thought they were full sized knives). I had some bone that Culpepper called Nectarine Aberdeen. It’s a little different color but I like it.

Love these little guys as users. They're pretty small but can take on some heavy-duty jobs.

That bone looks great! Much better than the well-aged and well-worn Delrin that is supposed to look like wood on mine.

You sure must keep busy with all these knives you fix up. This one turned out just as nice as all the others. ::nod::

Thanks Mike!
I don’t spend much time watching TV so I have some time for knife mods. I’m also retired so that frees up some time. When I’m not busy with other real life issues I’m in the basement working on knives.

Jeff, I had one of those little knives and gave it away. I would not have if it looked like yours. Great work. ::nod:: ::tu::

Great job once again Jeff.
That color of bone is another winner from Culpepper. You did a great job of fitting the bone and getting a nice finish. It's a beauty!

I bought (I think) three of those for (I think) $5 or $6 a piece. I gave away two but someplace around here I still have one. They were Utica Kutmasters.

They’re cool little knives. I’ve got another one in my project box but I haven’t decided what to re-handle it with. It’ll be bone of some sort just gotta decide on the color and jigging pattern.
