CAMCO rehab...

Post by Doc B »

I was scrolling through a Facebook group, when this Camco caught my eye. I like the long pull on these and they also have very nice half stops. The second thing that caught my eye, was Justin's (the owner) profile picture, with his very young baby. I thought I'd offer to try and make it look a bit better. Clicking on Justin's profile, to message him, I saw that he was an Airman, in the Air Force, stationed at Barksdale, Lousiana. I too had started out enlisted in the Air Force. After my enlisted days and completing Dental School...I went back in the Air Force. My first assignment was at England AFB, Alexandria LA...about 2 hours south of where Justin is stationed. We closed the base in a 1992 round of base closures. It was there, that our son was born. Working on the knife brought back a flood of memories....from early enlisted days...to raising our little one.
...So, Justin....I salute you and your generation, that carries the "torch" forward. I know it's not always easy. Keep putting one foot in front of the other and "Don't Blink"; Kenny Chesney.
