A Few That Are in Progress

Post by Jeffinn »

Hoping to finish these up this week:
A Schrade 5ot with streaked water buffalo horn handles. The pile side is really streaked well, the mark side is a little bit less streaked. It has a new Schrade factory blade.

Another Schrade 5ot. This one has the jigged water buffalo horn handles. I believe they’re supposed to resemble Impala horns. This one has a new blade too.

And I’m working on another Schrade LB7. I’ve put some nice jigged amber bone handles on it. But I need to fabricate a lock bar for it, I don’t have any that will work for this configuration.

With the cooler weather coming in Im spending a little less time in my outdoor shop. I’m hoping to finish these up before it gets really cold!

Great looking knives Jeff. I'm sitting here fondling the 5OT with buffalo horn scales I got from you a while back. Excellent job, it is a beaut. Guess you need an indoor workshop for winter huh?

Jeff those are looking great. ::tu::
Now I'm feeling really low, because all of my knives and equipment is boxed up in storage until we build our house.
I really miss working on my knives and knife kits... ::tear::

The steamed Buffalo is nice. But that LB7 takes the cake. Very nice!
