Bolster repair

Post by Highwatermark60 »

Hey fellas,
I have a hen and rooster stag mini coke bottle that was left in my work pants pocket and was put in a dryer at the laundromat. It was beat all up and was wondering the proper way to polish the bolsters which have the edges all beat up.
Thanks,
Patrick

If the bolsters took a real beating it might require some judicious file work followed by some patient sanding with various grits of sand paper followed by a trip to the buffing wheel.
If you post a picture or two the folks here can give you a better idea of what needs to be done.

Ditto, what David and Jeff said. If the only damage to the bolsters is what you said happened because the knife went through the washer and dryer, a quick polish with Flitz may be all the is needed. Pictures please.
