BUCK KNIVES WARRANTY Rocks!

Post by TripleF »

Using my Vanguard Buck a couple weeks ago to baton some wood and make shavings....my usual use of a fixed blade knife.

When arriving home I pulled it from the sheath and noticed a chunk missing.....I was like what the??????

I sent it in for repair/replacement and within 10 days had a brand new Vanguard in my hands!!!
I'm thrilled with Buck Knives customer service!! Absolutely thrilled!!!

Good to know Buck still backs their knives. I had one like yours only with a gut hook and dropped it on a concrete shop floor while skinning a deer and the blade snapped in half. Called Buck's corporate offices and the rep was very friendly and sent me a new replacement while the broken one was still in the mail on it's way back to them. That was about 20 years ago, top notch service from Buck that I haven't forgotten to this day.

Nice to hear that a company provides a service AFTER the sale. Not to many
companies like that these days.

In theory, this kind of news makes more people buy their product ( to help offset
the expense of providing goods after the sale. Most companies these days
are just the bottom line- how much do I make on the sale.

I have a pocket knife that sent to Case. I was thinking about it this morning.
Hope they do me good also. ( I did not break or abuse the knife)
