TUNA VALLEY CUTLERY CO.

Post by Knifekid »

Tuna Valley Cutlery Co., first realease

Been a long time coming but I finally got my first order of the Tuna Valley knives. I picked Great Eastern Cutlery to build them simply because I think they are building the best traditional pocket knives today. We started on this project in 2007 and are just completing it, all the knives are stamped 2007 but were assembled this year. The Model is the scout and it will have TVCC’s pattern number stamped on all of them, the number is 5201 (5=Stag, 2=blades, 01 is the pattern). The specs are as follows:

Total of 150 made and all are serial numbered on the front bolster

Stag handles

Crest Shield

440C Stainless Steel brushed blades with no etching

Rear bolster

Brass pins and liners

All knives will come with a COA that matches the serial number and will be personally signed

Box will be a Case Classic style

Not one to blow my own horn, but I haven't heard one thing from my fellow forum mates about the article I did on TVC in the last issue of Knife World??? Was it that bad or just not of interest to anyone? Be honest, that is what writing is all about, entertianing and informing others through the written word. let me know please

Toot, toot!
I just read it today, David. And I was definitely entertained! It is great fun to read about the history of an obscure branding, and educational. Now I know to snag a "Tuna" if I ever see one in my lifetime   !
I wonder if Perry wants more obscure brands to produce??
I'm sure there are many hanging around this forum, not all in PA of course.
Now If only I could get my KnifeWorld sooner, being a Canadian resident. ::doh::

David; I loved the article and although I had seen the knife on Collectorknives site, I didn't order one until your article inspired me to do so. I loved the knife and subsequently ordered another! (see the thread in GEC collectors). Thanks for your hard work! We all appreciate your knife articles a bunch! ::tu:: ::tu::

Perry; you deserve two thumbs up as well for your considerable effort in making the TV Knive a reality. Fine work!! ::tu:: ::tu::

Thank you both!
