A hearty 3-finger Steel Sahlute!

Today I'll be submitting a press release, indicating that the Gerber Bear Grylls Survival Series Scout knife will be auctioned off on eBay after I complete the review.

The amount of money bid on the knife (less ebay & Paypal fees) will be donated to the Boy Scouts (http://www.scouting.org), send a Scout to Camp program:
http://aplacetogive.scouting.org/magent ... rvice.html

The highest bidder will win the knife which will be accompanied by a signed letter of authenticity, along with my signature on the blade of the knife!

Auction will coincide with the one-year anniversary of my first post made here at http://www.pocketknivesblog.com on March 15th, 2011 at 10:56. And that's what time the auction will begin on March 15th, 2012!

So, rustle up your campers, contact your friends, and bid on this mahgilla on March 15th so we can help send a Scout to Camp!!

Steel Sahlute,
Scott

I'm sorry I missed this one Scott, a Boy Scout salute to you for helping a Scout get to camp. Every year we have fundraisers to help our less fortunate boys attend summer camp and any other events the district and council sponsor. We have a number scheduled for this year including pancake breakfasts, our annual car wash and even the possibility of a spaghetti supper. Our council is running our bi-annual Traveling Camporee to Boston in the fall and it usually is somewhat expensive, but we're the only council in the US that has such an event. We've been to Ottawa, Williamsburg and Pittsburgh since my boys have been in the Troop.

Last year we decided to send the proceeds of our car wash to the Boy Scouts of Joplin, Missouri to a least help a little after the tornado affected so many Troops there.

Thanks again for helping the Scouts, we believe it is one of the best programs for helping boys to become good men.
