Queen City Cutlery Classics ( QCCC )

Post by Mint Set Man »

Well, after a 7 month wait, the newest and updated trademark is here from Queen.

The QCCC line is an exclusive line to Cumberland Knife Works and will be offered by 3 other dealers. They are: Smoky Mt. Knife Works, River Raisin Knife Co., and Knives Ship Free.

The whole idea behind QCCC is 1095 High Carbon steel, nickel/silver liners, pinned shield, and Schatt-Morgan finish.

The QCCC shield was last used in 1928 .

This is the perfect opportunity to get in on the ground floor of collecting a new line of knives. Our plans are to have one pattern each month showing up , however, with the increased work load at Queen , that may take some proving.

These first handles are Sambar Stag, Amber WinterBottom Bone, Antique Green American Jigged Bone , and real Ebony Wood.

What's the verdict ????

I'm not usually one for knives that will sit in a display case, and I don't buy much that I don't intend to take apart, but man, that antique green bone looks NICE. the 1095 made me consider it (bit of steel snobbery, I know, but I buy em to cut with) but that bone may have just sealed the deal. You AAPK folks might just make a collector out of me yet.

Wow! Mintset, I love the new line. Hope my wallet can stand the strain. Queen and S&M are about my favorite brand(s). Hey Adam, nice work on that collection. If any of those get too worn just send 'em my way. ::nod:: GJ
