Well, it’s a German blade at least. It is marked Soligen underneath. That’s about as far as ai can go.
You have to be trusted by the people that lie to you. So that when they turn their backs on you, You'll get the chance to put the knife in….

Thanks. I still like it. O'.
Re: Four Pyramids and a Palm Tree tang stamp ???
MH72, while doing some research on another German maker, I ran across a reference to an old stamping that included a Pyramid "and a palm tree". The referenced maker was listed as Ferd. Herberz & Cei. Not sure if it's an exact match but seems to be a close fit. Cool old knife.

Anthony Carter's "Guide to German Knife & Sword Makers" has an image of the stamp describe by Joe. It is actually a palm tree beside a single pyramid on a grassy surface. Carter makes no mention of a palm tree inside 3 pyramids ever being used by Ferdinand Herberz & Co.
I paged through Carter's book (which has tang stamps in the margins) and did not find a match to the stamp on the OP knife.

Thanks Guys....
I had that page marked.
I went through page by page (all 650 of them!), and that was the closest I found.
