Case blue scroll set

Post by OldCoach »

I have a set of Case Blue Scroll knives.
Stag handle, engravings on bolsters, blue on blades.
Case xx on blades, wood case with velvet lining.
Knives still in the plastic bags, no rust, all folders.
I would like to sell the set.
Approximate value?
I have had them for 15-20 yrs.
All help appreciated.
Thanks

Hi; welcome to AAPK and I would be interested in buying the set. If you want, PM me and I can give you a value estimate and an offer.

Old Coach I see one listed on Ebay for $1899 or best offer. When I bought my set several years ago I gave $750 for the regular bolstered set and seem to recall that the engraved bolsters were bringing $250-$300 more. With Biden's inflation rate in force they may well bring $1899.

I had a chance to buy the fixed blades several years ago for $200, with sheaths. Still kicking myself on that missed opportunity. ::mdm::
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!
