Any knowledgeable SOG colletors out there. Trying to figure out if this is a early Tomcat from SOG. I have not seen this blade on one?

A great looking knife for sure.
Re: SOG Tomcat
I can't answer your question, but that doesn't look much like my Tomcat.
I will take a picture later and post.

Re: SOG Tomcat
I am thinking this is a very early version of the Tomcat. 3 3/4 blade and around 8 1/2 overall. Very heavy, the blade just does not look like most of the original Tomcats?

Re: SOG Tomcat
The early Tomcats had a SOG bowie-style blade and a nail nick rather than a thumbstud. The knife in the OP’s photographs was called a SOG-Winder (a portmanteau of the words “SOG” and “sidewinder”). It was made in the late 1980s or early 1990s. I believe it was SOG’s first one hand openable folding knife.

Thanks Greenman, you hit the nail on the head. I would have never found it as a Tomcat. The information is much appreciated!
