Guys,
I am attaching some photos of a Harley Davidson single blade lockback with carbon fiber handles. It was sold by United Cutlery, probably several years ago. Any ideas as to who might have made it? I suspect it came out of Japan but that is just a guess. The handles are very much like some I have seen recently on A. G. Russell knives that were made in Japan.
As always, any info will be appreciated.

I believe your HD knife was made in Taiwan by Gigand Ltd. Most of Gigand’s knives were designed by knifemaker Dr. Fred Carter.Paladin wrote:Guys,

Greenman, You nailed it and Jerryd, I dug down in the box and under the normally useless paperwork was a hang-tag with the Gigand name on it. So my bad, I shoulda looked thru all the paperwork before I bothered you guys.
I will brag on it a little in that the quality seems to be better than the usual knife I see coming out of that part of the world.
Anyway, thanks to both of you for the help on this.

I have one knife made by Gigand and I will attest to the quality of the knife.

I have some United made knives I got through SMKW and they are pretty descent. I thought they were made on Taiwan but I'm often wrong.
