Help ID German stainless whittler
Found an interesting little knife, not sure about the maker and would really appreciate any insight or educated guesses. Just the main blade is stamped, let me know if it looks familiar. Thanks in advance folks!

Re: Help ID German stainless whittler
Eustace, that was quick !
Basically it is a whittler pattern with metal handles making it slim and suitable for a 'gent' to carry. "Gent" = office worker, etc., not intended for an outdoor laborer or heavy duty cutting.
German knives are often hard to date. It could be as old as 1920's or as recent as 1960's. The link from Eustace might give company dates.
