Vintage Gerber pocket knife

I have numerous pocket knives from my late husband. He died in 1983 and all have been stored. I have not been able to identify a couple. This one is a case, single blade lock back with an ivory colored handle. Overall it is 6 1/2 in and the blade is 2 3/4 in. It has a hole in the handle for a landyard. I looked thru the vast collection, I think it was Mut and he had two of them in a display case. Mine does not have anything on the handle. I will try to attach some pictures but I am not very good at that. Thank you for any help. I am looking to sell and have no idea of the value.

It is a Gerber Classic LST - imitation ivory micarta handles. Check eBay sold items for value, they tend to be all over the place. Origiinal box and paperwork helps the cost considerably.

Thank you so much. I have spent hours looking. I have a Henckles 3 blade wood handle and the number 1919 and hand forged on the blade. Can you identify this one?

Ann,
I am far from being an expert on Henckels, but their knives marked Hand Forged are often manufactured in China. Henckels quit making their own knives in the 60's and after that Olbertz and Boker made knives for them. Like most manufacturers these days, they have also moved to Asia and Spain for product. Your knife looks to be made in China.
