I think Iron Hoarder is your man - probably English made. Send him a PM, he will probably give you maker and date - good luck. OH
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

Three posts for one knife. Sadly there is a good chance you will not get a true ID on knife's maker since there are myriads of makers in India and little documentation on the cutleries there. Handle scales are likely cow or water buffalo horn.

Almost certainly made in India or Pakistan and they invariably used the star and cross to suggest Joseph Rodgers and sometimes put "NO.6" on the tang to further suggest Rodgers' address of No. 6 Norfolk Street in Sheffield.

Total counterfeit.

Thanks everyone for the great info. Does anyone have an opinion on age regardless?
