Knife is marked sheffield usa look like enamel over gold or gold filled. the fob isn't stamped but looks like gold instead of brass.

It is a 'novelty knife'. They were made with a wide variety of handles and were common in 1930's - 1970's ? Often sold in variety type stores mounted on a cardboard display near the cash register.
I have not seen this one before nor any knife marked "Sheffield U.S.A.".

I have quite a few so-called,"watch fob" knives so marked. They are mostly skeleton knives that were sold to jewelers who added their own handles. I'll have to dig a few out and post them.
