KABAR with bullet or space shuttle shield?

Never seen anything like it. Might be a one off customization. Blade looks like a stock Kabar 1189 type.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

I think you nailed it. Looks like they ground the well area straight across and attempted to put on a shield.
