Anyone familiar with the history of IRN Ichrostenie knives?

Post by GSPTOPDOG »

Anyone familiar with the history of IRN Ichrostenie knives? I have this one but I am not finding much information about it. It is a nice little knife with great stag handles. I was thinking it is a German made item, but I am not sure. I am also not sure of the value and I can't find any sold listings anywhere. Any information would be helpful. ::tu::

Not much on German but the stamp might be Ich Roste Nie (or something close) which might mean "I don't rust", pure speculation, however, I have no doubt that eventually someone who understands German will drop by. Looks like a nice little German made stag pen knife. ::tu::

Ugh I don't don't know how I did it but wound up posting three times instead of editing twice. Just cleaning things up a bit. ::shrug::

See my third post in this string for info LOL!

I think that's actually Polish. Not positive but pretty certain. The translation would be the same though with German being Ich Rosten nicht.

Ich roste nie: I never rust. If it's not German, it's almost certainly from a country where a majority are German speakers.

Double posts happen occasionally and the unwanted post can be deleted so long as it is done before someone posts after the unwanted post. In the upper right hand corner of the post just click on the 'X' and then follow the bouncing ball.
You can also make a correction to or edit your post for about 24 hours by clicking on the pencil/eraser icon also in the upper right hand corner. That function can be done even if someone has posted after you. ::facepalm:: 8) :)
