I looked very closely at my case teardrop and there seems to be small sanding marks in the right lighting

The blade is mirror polished, but in the right lighting, there seems to be a bunch of small marks like a brushed satin blade. Is this normal or is it something I have done? Also, could it be the steel grain?

Pictures would make it easier to make an evaluation, without them it would strictly be a guess.
