Hello, I found this old knife in an old house.
Any ideaa how old and what kind of knife it is?

Long shot here. Maybe a Japanese brand like "Valor"? Good luck with it.J.O'.

Looks like a Mexican hunting knife to me. The cast aluminum handle and the eagle pommel are typical Mexican attributes. It probably had cow horn inserts in the handle which have been eaten by bugs. Age wise, I'd venture 1950s-1970s. Value? Not much. Might be cool to clean it up and install new handle inserts and use it!

The knife made me think Mexico as well. ::shrug::
