When we used to shoot willie peter(white phosphorus) at bad guys & the fly boys dropped napalm we used to say ," now thats bringin hot scaldin pee to young Charleys azz!

I love that guy's channel - I watch his videos all the time.

I suspect the winners have more to do with the thickness of the edge than the hardness or toughness of the steel. I'll bet they are all within a couple points of each other in HRC.

A knife’s steel properties that make for a “winner” in such a competition as we see in the video, I do not believe has much relevance for what I prefer in a knife’s qualities, “in the kitchen”.

However, kind of an amusing cross-cultural interlude, especially with the distaff background exclamations.
