Walked into the house we rented in Florida for the week...

This unique knkfe holder was in the kitchen

I laughed out loud ... Have never seen anything like this before

That’s hilarious. Love this knife holder.

Nice looking knife, chickenman62.

Is that blade designed for carving? I sure like that curved tip. It looks like it would serve that purpose well
and the curved tip could lift slices to a plate.

Here is a repair I made to a Wusthof knives, santoku I recently picked up with a damaged handle. The bottom picture shows how the handle was melted away towards the end. I filled it in with a mixture of "liquid nails" and epoxy and mixed black paint with the epoxy to blend in better. It came out a little lumpy... but I can still use this great $170 knife... that I paid $0.50 for.

Here are the before pictures, with more detail, of the Wusthof knives, santoku...the handle had been placed on a hot stove and partially melted away. :(
