Old Butcher knife and a homemade fixed blade.

Post by Colonel26 »

I picked these two up at a second hand store Saturday while they were running a half priced sale. The big one with the end broken off looks like it was someone's old hog killing knife. You cab still see some of the swedge, and the handles look to be Beech I think.

The second is completely homemade I believe. The handle is an old file handle, and I believe the blade was made from a saw blade.

Not bad for $3.50. I'll regrind the big one and sharpen them both up. Ought to make dandy around the house users.
