$2 Case butcher knife

Got this Case butcher knife some time ago at the jotemdown store.
If I remember right, it was$2. From the looks of it, somebody had a field day with a little bit of everything trying to sharpen it.
The hickory handle was just about to the point of not saving.
Dishwashers are good, but not on knives. Especially with real treewood handles.
I'm posting some before and after, but I really like this in the kitchen. I finished it about 8 months ago, it's still holding up and looks as good as the day I finished it and started using it.
And that's daily.
