Kitchen score
So I got lucky today at the thrift store. The steak knives were there a couple days ago, till todays half price. The carving set is from England, knife has a Larco stainless stamp and a separate unreadable signature,it kinda looks like. The steel says New precision on it.

Re: Kitchen score
Thank you Sir, they are really nice. As its a busy day, to look up the proper term, I need two metal caps to replace what was there, at the ends. I see a tiny drop of glue that didnt cut it. Are these available ?

Re: Kitchen score
Well the missing pieces are pommels which I almost wrote. Replacements seem scarce, but I noticed a hunk of antler that was laying around and and cut off a couple slices, glued a screw in and glued the other end into the hollow stag handles. When dry will grind them together.

My new knife set is a Lewis Rose LTD. I cleaned up the knife to get rid of the massive scratching and sharpened it. Its shiny and is with a Lamson, similarly saved. The two, center, steak knives appear to be Wustoffs, but have no markings and not by me. Love these salvaged blades.

They work. My first turkey. I learned to ignore the pop up gizmo. Its temp. seemed like around 135+ * and internet says 165*. Gizmo was probably waiting for 165. It was completely cooked but moist with no bag. I did put it upside down after 1.5 hrs. This, I read, will keep breast from drying out. Stuffed with two apple slices
