Yes I believe that to be true. This one was one from ebay and has a copper head. I never had my hands on it. From the same seller different site I bought one with a stainless head. It’s total length is 6 1/8”. The head is
1 1/16” widest and 3/4” narrowest. And 2 1/2”” length.
I would have put heavier handle or small head possibly longer handle to balance it better. It’s still would do damage with possibly amputation of a medium size finger and definitely the smaller fingers. Would think with a chicken leg one wouldn’t have too much trouble if if any when hit with solid hit.

The Bitch Knives and the Little Giant Axe brand are both distributed by the Daniel's family ,they are listed on their website, showed a list of distributors but all of mine were bought off of Ebay. Here are some pictures of mine , the two with Snake wood are Bitch Knives and the single is a copper head , the three with Maplewood, and Maple Burl are Little Giant Axe Company, my favorite is the Fireman's Axe.
