broadhead
here's a broadhead I forged and ground today. pattern welded steel
heat treat, etch and she's ready to fly. Shooting for 175 grains.Re: broadhead
There is a little history museum over near Fort Richardson that has some arrow heads like those. Some US Calvary troops were engaged with some Indians and had take a defensive position inside a buffalo wallow. The Indians inflicted several wounds by arching their arrows high into the air so that they came down inside the buffalo wallow. They have the ones in the museum that they dug out of the soldiers backs and back sides as they were lying prone shooting over the edge of the wallow at the Indians. They were not as finished as yours but proved very effective.

Nice. Are you shooting a longbow? Cedar shafts? Aluminum shafts?
