Scott,
Looks like it is a True Temper roofing hatchet.
Mighty handy around a camp site.

The handle is worth more than $2.00.

I am not trying to "One-up-you" Scott, but here is a true story from this weekend trip to the local swap meet
... I got this ax from a guy at the Flea Market. I asked him if he had any axes and he said "I got one in the truck, but the handle is messed up" I said "Well, can I see it?" He got it out of the truck and handed it to me and I asked, "How Much", He said "Just take it and I'll be rid of it". I said
...
OK.. are you sure? Thanks man!!!"

I’m surprised he didn’t drive away in the guy’s free truck!
That handle is kind of messed up, the guy probably hadn’t changed his truck oil in a while either.
