Repair of a model 1905 bayonet

Post by Ribbit »

I've located one in a local pawn shop. It has been shortened. It does have the scabbard.
I think I can buy it reasonable...but the release button is missing. The lug, handles, are all intact and seem to be in good shape.

Can the button be purchased and replaced? If so, where?

By the way, I am looking for a model 1905 or M1 bayonet for a Garand. I'll trade or consider buying straight out.
Thanks!
