My Ontario SP1 Combat knife arrived yesterday.

The 1075 Carbon Steel SP1 Combat knife is the one without the back of the clip-point sharpened. It took a bit of work but the blade is keenly sharp. Since the steel had been hardened to 57-59 HRC I'm highly confident that it will outperform the current KaBar 1211. (The 1211's thin tang has since been prone to failure). At $26.99 shipped to my door, it is truly a value-packed knife. (A 2111 KaBar would cost more than twice as much).
