German(?) Bayonet identification WWII(?)

Post by GSPTOPDOG »

Anyone have any info on this Bayonet? Looks Like a German K98 (maybe?) Made in 1942... ::paranoid:: Looks like it was converted to a fighting knife. That is how I bought it from a military collector, as a "WWII Theater Made Fighting Knife" I had a paper with some info written down about it but I can't find it and I can't remember where I left my ginkgo-biloba pills that help sharpen my memory... ::skeptic::

This is a cut down bayonet for a WW2 British Mark 2 Enfield rifle made in India by the Northwest Railway Company. Or at least it appears to be... ::hmm::
