Back in the early 90’s Me and another fella were working for a contractor as bodyman/painters. We would have times there would be nothing to do for a week or 2 at a time. I was going stir crazy so I decided to carve some bondo. I took small boxes and filled them with bondo and hardener and made blocks to carve on. So I ended up making animals first a snake, elephant, a giraffe (gave it away) and a turtle (gave it away too), then carving my carving knife which is a Boker 8313 wiss anniversary knife only I put jigged bone on it. Also carved a pen knife and a 3 blade stockman with smooth bone. Thats my carving story out of boredom at work, But I did enjoy it!!

Not only do you have real carving talent Jimbo, but I find it hilarious that you carved a replica of your knife.

I am going to have to make the drive out there and buy your breakfast one morning just so that we can finally meet face to face.
Contact me after your wife recovers from knee surgery, and we will set something up.
Jesus is life.
Everything else is just a hobby.

Ha! I kinda ran out of ideas to carve.
Sounds good reverand, I’m always up for a good meal but you don’t have to buy mine. We will get together and meet. can even meet you in Scottsboro if you want. Wife’s surgery went well. I am writing you from the hospital room. Long therapy to go. I’ll be in touch down the road.
