Pretty cool Doug. Good job on both carving and painting. Never saw a limb bird before. ::nod:: ::nod:: ::tu:: ::tu::

Thanks! These are going to be addictive to carve. Giving the old Case seahorse whittler a work out. I was thinking about it the other day. I've been carving with this knife for 4yrs this March. It's carved a lot, I've lost track, but I'd guess getting close to 300 carvings so far.

Did you thin the blades any? Is it showing any signs of wear. Do you use one blade more than another? ::shrug::

Very nice, Scott. The dark area at the top of the handle gives it character. And, there appear to be a 'face' in the wood just below the dark area. ::shrug:: That's what I see, anyway. Nevertheless, very unique. ::tu::

I had to thin the edge on the main blade. It's the only blade I use. The two smaller ones flex to much to be of much use for me anyways.

Hadn't seen you post anything lately Doug, so glad to see these. To whittle a shotgun shell would have never crossed my mind. Thanks for sharing. ::nod:: ::nod:: ::tu:: ::tu::

Thanks. I don't have any new knives to share and I'm pretty happy with the current selection I have ,so the whittling is about all I have to share. I do stop in and read in the general forum every so often. Sometimes I feel like I'm posting to much stuffin the whittling forum.

That's one of the good things about so many topics here. You can just pick the ones that interest you. And you are definitely not posting too much in the whittling thread. Not at all. ::nod:: ::nod::

These arrowhead's are a fun carve. Add a little wood burning to dress it up.
