Wood carving projects
Re: Wood carving projects
Just finished this beaver and another bird my 4yr old granddaughter request so it could set on her finger she said! Lol.
Re: Wood carving projects
Very good Doug. Something your granddaughter will treasure.
Re: Wood carving projects
These arrowhead's are a fun carve. Add a little wood burning to dress it up.
Re: Wood carving projects
The wood burning does dress it up.
Re: Wood carving projects
Another carving I wanted to try checked off my list. An arrow through a heart
Re: Wood carving projects
Doug, if I ever get started whittling again I think I will try that one. You did a great job the hole for the arrow shaft sure looks tight. Great work.
Re: Wood carving projects
A simple dog carving. In memory of my dog max who passed away last year about this time.
Re: Wood carving projects
Super job Doug. And a fitting memory. You have discovered your gift. Thanks for sharing.

Your cavings are charming.
Re: Wood carving projects
Thanks!
Re: Wood carving projects
More cool ones Doug. The little bearded fellow is really good.
Re: Wood carving projects
Carved with my Case seahorse whittler. A different design wood burned on each side.
Re: Wood carving projects
Simple cross with a little v-tool work. It's a simple but satisfying carve.

Re: Wood carving projects
Definitely catches the eye. Well done.
Re: Wood carving projects
Very good Doug. I like it.
Re: Wood carving projects
Thanks I used a Flexcut v-tool on this one for the beard. Knife works on the rest of it.

Re: Wood carving projects
Very nice little spoon, Scott. One of the nicest one's you've ever did. I like the wood grain in this one. That's a soup slurping spoon if I've ever seen one.

You have an awesome skill, Scott. You give a whole new meaning to 'spooning'.
