Here's a Santa Carving I did recentlyIMG_20200402_114414.jpg

Hopefully the flag won't trigger anyone. I was recently denied entry to a contest with this because or "Racist associations of the flag." In Canada!!!!
Wonderful carving Mr. Chips, from exposition to execution; very well done! ::tu::

Was it Napoleon that said ... "What is history but a fable agreed upon." For the court historians who are permitted license to produce our history, that quote rings true ... and that license comes at a dear price.

Keep up the great work and don't let anyone tell you different.

I never got past whittling a big stick into a small stick. I admire some of your guy's craftsmanship.

Cool Doug, a two faced pumpkin. Will he run for office? At least both are smiling. I certainly enjoy your carvings. Thank you for sharing. ::handshake::

Another cool one Doug. I have noticed a certain favoring of vegetables of late. But Mr Corn is worthy of showing off. I bet the paint job will make it even better. ::tu:: ::nod::

Thanks guys. I carved a few feather type pendants for a necklace. These are a fun small carving. I haven't decided yet on the second one to add color or leave it like it is. As usual I used my Case Seahorse whittler knife.
