I made this out of mullberry for my youngest daughters birthday in October. I think she's going to like it. I still have to oil it so that will show the color and grain a little more.

Would you be willing to share pics of how you go about carving a spoon, showing the various stages of progression? Sort of a HOW-TO for us know-nots?

Absolutely......I think I have a couple pics.
I only use a hatchet, knife, gouge/hook knife and sandpaper...
