Doug, 20 years from now someone will see that and wonder why someone would carve toilet paper. Very witty!

It won't take 20 years. I'm wondering right now.

Oh, it hit here too. Never understood it but it is what it is. Didn't effect me because I buy the 45 roll pack at Sam's Club and it lasts me most of a year. That can happen when there's only one person making demands on the supply and it's a guy. And in case there's any question about it, I was just gigging you, cause that's what I do. No offense intended. You do a fine job of carving. Looked good from where I sit.Doug51 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 31, 2020 4:41 pmYou must not have had the TP shortage everyone is talking about around my area and still are.

Looks great!
At the Dollar General (so far, the only place my folks are going to) shelves are still barren of TP (we stocked up long before that, so no real issue). The problem is afterward. TP manufacturers have obviously hired more people to keep up with demand. The people that hoarded probably won't be buying TP for several years. So, people are gonna get laid off due to cost stickiness as it's called in accounting.
I noticed a Finnish knife dealer I've been looking at purchasing a few different knives from is now alternately listing their prices in TP, as a sort of tongue-in-cheek joke.
Example: The knife is $58 that I'm looking at.

Price in toilet paper rolls approximately 107 toilet paper rolls. We do not yet accept toilet paper as payment.

Re: A little toilet paper humor
I don't know how many people look at this part of the forum but is anyone interested in carving one of these TP character? I could do a series of pictures showing you how. I've never done this before but I think some of you that have always wanted to try carving might have some fun and surprise yourselves. And the bonus is you get to work with your pockets knife! Let me know and if you are I'll try my best to help.
Re: A little toilet paper humor
Pictures of the process are always enjoyable. I say go for it.
