Re: Christmas ornaments
Haven't done any carvings, but tell me about that knife in the 2nd picture.

Re: Christmas ornaments
Good morning,
I'm fairly new to collecting but once retired I plan on doing some cataloging and lots of carving.
Both your knives and carvings are very nice! especially like the reindeer and snowmen

Doug you have done well. I love the ornaments! I bet the personalized ones will be a hit as well. Glad you are putting that pocket carver to work. Great on the paint as well.

Re: Christmas ornaments
Yesterday afternoon, my trip to the post office produced this item. It was completely unexpected, but VERY much appreciated. It is a hand carved Grinch Christmas ornament.
A VERY special thank you goes out to Coley (C-WADE7) for this thoughtful and most generous gift.

Re: Christmas ornaments
Glad you liked it Skip! Here is a pic of some of the ornaments I’ve made the last 2 years. I think the bulk of the Santa’s I’ve made are packed up (we didn’t put a tree up this year because we have 3 kittens who get into everything).
Re: Christmas ornaments
Great work Mr. Wade. That natural wood angel is a masterpiece.
Re: Christmas ornaments
You're right, I was so impressed with the Grinch that I overlooked the angel in the other picture.
Excellent work on all of them.
