Whats your newest addition to your Buck family and why?

Hoyt Buck produced the first Buck Knife in 1902. Hoyt and his son Al moved to San Diego and set up shop as H.H. Buck & Son in 1947. Al Buck revolutionized the knife industry in 1964 with the infamous Model 110 Folding Hunter. The company's innovative history and attention to quality have made for many great collectible knives.

Nice pick up on that one, David. If that is the only blemish, I could live with that too. ::tu:: It'll be a great user.

My newest addition to my knife collection and my first Buck ! Just arrived today.
Unused in a box Buck 110 Open Season one of 500 first made with Micarta handle. I understand now why people like Buck's and say they are quality folding knives. Awesome knife, gotta get one cheaper one for daily use for sure.

That is indeed an awesome knife! For daily use, in my opinion you can't go wrong with a 112 Slim Select. Good fit and finish, great blade with a hair-shaving edge from the factory (and after cutting a few Styrofoam ceiling tiles), made in USA, and under $30 US!

So glad you were able to find another 673, Scott. ::tu:: ::groove:: When I read that you had lost your other one a while back, my heart sank for you. I know how frustrating it can be to lose a GREAT knife. Wish I would have had one to send you.

I'm intrigued! So the original cutout for the lock release on the rear bolster is still there but the lever isn't visible in the photos. What happened to the original lock release lever? This is a very interesting knife.

A birthday gift from my wife. Buck 112 from the Custom Shop. Nickel Silver, 420HC, and Ironwood.

I've been staring at the package since it arrived on 4/11. It's not my birthday yet but my wife had mercy and let me open it tonight.

I love it!
