A minor boneheaded OCD mistake. I occasionally browse Etsy for stuff on my knife and multitool list. I saw this Buck Tool Bucklite one for $27, and bought it without hardly thinking. It's rusted, and the right handle is floppy where it pivots at the pliers. I've whacked it a few times with a ball-peen hammer and it hadn't helped. For $8 more, I could have had a near-mint one. I'm thinking I'll buy that one, and save this one for parts if I can't fix it. If I can--beater user.

This is my most recent and as near as I can tell it's a 433 Juno though the model isn't marked, I guess because it was a commemorative.

It came from a firearms and related estate sale where for some reason no one was bidding on the knives. I got it and another folder (a Myerco Stinray Aus-8) for $1, though to be fair I didn't know what they were until after I bought them since I hadn't really looked closely.

Prior to that one, my most recent was this 1994 Buck Camo Crosslock that I also picked up at an estate sale.

I've done that too, it's a symptom of Buck Fever for which there is no cure.

Great looking burl, Buckeye has such a distinctive pattern to it and is hard as nails.

Quick Steel, it never occurred to me that my photos appear black and white but now that you mentioned it, I see what you mean. Those were taken using a light box that I got a few weeks ago and they are actually color photos. I took another pic yesterday of my small Custom Shop collection which includes an orange knife. Same camera settings as my pics above.

I bought this Buck 380 because it was listed as a Mini-Trapper. It's not. It's a Tiny-Trapper made in China and not worth the time and expense to send it back. It is put together well and quite the snappy little bugger, but.............. Oh well. Live and learn. At least it wasn't an expensive lesson.

About the size of a Peanut Jerry? Buck has more Far East patterns of slip joints than one realizes - saw some Buck canoes and doctors knives in a hunting/fishing store last week. Not my cup of tea either. OH

That is small, too small for me. I do have a couple of 2-7/8" Case mini-Stockman patterns that are still functional for light tasks, but that is as short as I want and not as a primary pocketknife at that. OH
