Used and abused 301 and 303

Hoyt Buck produced the first Buck Knife in 1902. Hoyt and his son Al moved to San Diego and set up shop as H.H. Buck & Son in 1947. Al Buck revolutionized the knife industry in 1964 with the infamous Model 110 Folding Hunter. The company's innovative history and attention to quality have made for many great collectible knives.

Used and abused 301 and 303

Post by Wharnecilff »

These knvives belonged to my father who passed away last April. He used his pocket knives for everything including a lot of things for which you should not use a pocket knife the worn and broken blades are testament to how hard they were used. The handles remained intact and the knives are still usable though the blades could use some rehabilitation. I'm keeping them as they are. Hi

He was rough on his knives. Great keepsakes, from your dad.

Have you thought about sending them back to the factory for the "Buck Spa Treatment"?

Larry-Thanks for that suggestion but I am keeping them as they are...as my father left them ....might carry them once in a while just for sentimental reasons...still usable.

I have an old knife my dad used with a big chunk burned out of it. Would not change it for the world. ::tu::
