Guys,
I have a 112 and the date stamp does not show in the charts or discussion posted here. It is a 'greater than' (>) or arrowhead with a single dot just to the left of the > or arrowhead.
Can you help me with this? Apologies for the tarnished condition of the brass. I will get it cleaned up shortly.
Ray

Ray, the knife is a 1987, the dot can indicate an internal engineering change or a variation in the manufacturing process. Trouble is that there is no conclusive proof of exactly what they are for. OH
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

Howdy, neighbor! If you are out and about this coming weekend, stop in at the Bastrop show and visit. I'll be set up there.
