Punch blade

Postby knife-nut » Sat Aug 10, 2019 7:18 pm

Does anyone have a punch blade for a Remington R3843. I just picked up a beautiful one with a broken punch. Knife is very close to perfect condition. This one will be a keeper. Thank you for your trouble. Mark

I am wondering if a punch blade out of a new Delrin handled version would work. Are the blades in these stainless steel?

Would the punch from a R3333 or other older Remington scout knife work in that? It doesn't look like the punch in your knife is marked with the usual Remington logo. If that is the case I have several punches that are out of the knife already if you post the thickness of your punch I'll go through them and see if I can find you one that would work.

The tang is very narrow, where the tang on a rs3333 is wide. I have some out of a rs3333. But thank you very much anyway. Mark.
