Schrade 25OT springs

Post by Nev52 »

Does anyone want to sell 2 springs for a Schrade 25OT? If not do you know of a supplier who has springs. If I can get one spring and a liner lock, I will make it a 125OT
Thanks

Look on the bay under "knife parts".... There is a few sellers on there that bought parts lots when Schrade closed its doors.

There is a bunch of blades out there but you might want to contact the sellers to see if they have any springs.
It would be pot luck on what you get since the springs are not labeled

Good luck

Thanks Mike,

Yep, that is a problem. You might have to get some steel and make a spring.

I will check this weekend to see if I have any. I have parted out a few Schrade knives, and I always keep springs. Will let you know what I find.

There are a remarkable number of Schrade folding hunters on Ebay constantly. Keep your eye peeled for an ugly one. Wait until the auction end approaches and make an offer. Could work. Good luck!

No Problem Reverand Thanks for looking. ::handshake:: I ordered some steel so I will give making a new spring for it a try. I made a small spring out of a lawn mower blade so far so good.

Glad to see you are going to give spring making a try.
I have made a few and it is not hard if you have the right steel.

I just wanted to give everyone some information. I just purchased 2 Queen cutlery folding hunter springs. With some modifying they fit in a Schrade 25ot. I purchased 01 steel to use to make a spring, but these fit perfectly. Just thought I would put this information out there for everyone.
