Tony, I think that is called a double end spring. Do you know how thick the old one is? I have some out of the knife and don't know which era they are. You know the cheapest shipping if $4 - right? Shame you can't get one locally.

theres nobody around here that has one. i dont know the thickness it was missing the spring when i got the knife.
