Model 73 Scout

Has the Model 73 Scout been discontinued or was it a limited production knife? Visited the GEC website and there is no 73 Scout listed?

The only knives they have on their "store" website are those that have not been sent to distributors yet. They are not discontinued.

OK, that's great. It's odd that they wouldn't catalog all their offerings on their website. I just purchased a 73 Scout from Bryan's AAPK store and am very excited about getting it. Thanks a lot.

It is funny you say that, what manufacturer does have a catalog of all their offerings on their website? Case has general production current offerings, but I don't guess I have seen anyone that catalogs every offering they have had. It would be great if they all did....

Don't know. I was only interested in GEC and did not search the others. I like to comparison shop. At any rate, I got what I think is a great deal from Bryan.

I think you did get a good deal on the Scout.

I have a Green Tea Jigged Bone Model 73. Talk about a solid feeling knife in your hand! It has a classic look like the Case Jumbo Trapper.
