Re: GEC Woodies
TC Barlow and an 85 EO both in Afrian Blackwood. Except for a couple times, this Barlow has been in my pocket since the day it arrived in early December. Being a single blade spey it's wonderfully slim in the pocket.
Re: GEC Woodies
Picked this one up about a week ago, #62 congress in rosewood. 1 of 7 made unserialized in 2011.

Re: GEC Woodies
Thanks! I don't have many in the rosewood and I think this is the first I have in the tidioute brand. Congress is a great pattern. slight correction, I said #61, it's actually #62.

Re: GEC Woodies
Here's another set of twins to go along with the cocobolo. #85 bullet end jacks in ebony wood. 2011 & 2012. after trying to capture these in pictures on four separate occasions I am convinced this is the hardest wood to capture the grains in pictures. believe it or not one has a swirl of light brown on front and back, and the other has streaks of light brown running from top to bottom front to back. very nice in person... the sunlight has to be just right.
