Not sure why you didn't give 'em a shot but I was on the fence myself. I prefer a larger knife and by the time I decided to pull the trigger the best looking ones had been snapped up. I did however receive one Saturday and immediately went searching for more. Its a super slick lil knife IM,I think you'd like it bro.

Awesome stag on both those beauties, Monk!

GEC put out a few of the 72's in red elk stag, and they came out beautifully! This version has swedged blades and lined bolsters, unfortunately there was a problem in production that severly limited the output. If you can find one, buy it!!!

Look for them on Monday morning, but they were a very short run "factory test" so there aren't going to be a lot of them. ::shrug::

What happened to the rest? I only received three of the 50 red stag 72's produced. One sold immediately and I haven't decided the fate of the other two serial no. 15's. Did all of the red stags go to prefered customers? I haven't seen any listed. ::shrug:: Anybody find any?

I saw a total of nine listed by two dist's combined if I remember correctly. Had an email
reply from a third that the one he recieved was long gone. With your three, thats only 13.
I am sure that CK probably had some, not sure how many. Been watching for them, but
this run has been elusive. I have a line on one maybe....................cant say where, LOL.
