Re: Nothing but Stag
Garry that's the recent polished stag #85. That was difficult to come by.

Greg, you have been busy ! I'm sure it took a lot of looking to find these knives with such fine stag. And you also have a fine collection of mammoth GEC's. Quite impressive ! I think the only GEC you still need is the elephant ivory Whaler

Thank you Roland! That Whaler would indeed be a prize. I'm still mulling that over. Let me know first if you let go of the Conductor or the Norfolk.kootenay joe wrote:Greg, you have been busy ! Re: Nothing but Stag
I just bought the first Northfield Sambar Stag GEC#12 Toothpick knife from KnivesShipFree. They had 50 listed. I bought the only phat Sambar #12 toothpick that I have seen since they started the #12 production. These knives look better slender. I will be able to stick this phat knife between my knees and open it up like butter. This knife was made for one arm me. I'll be happy with this one. How did I end up with 6 GEC#12 knives? Waiting on the Northfield #12 copperhead pony-cut jigged bone next.

Re: Nothing but Stag
One of my favorite patterns. Using these for a time before they are put away to be become my boys first pocket knife, one for each of them, plus one for dad of course.
Hopefully my wife behaves herself, or I will be forced to buy more knives.
